This coffee quality “Olympia”, a home brand of List & Beisler, grows in the region “West Valley”, next to the well- known natural reserves “Reserva Forestal Penas Blancas”, “Parque Nacional Juan Castro Blanco” , “Parque Nacional Volcán Poás”.
This coffee grows at an attitude from 1,400m through 1,700m above sea level. Conditions in this volcanic area have a beneficial effect on the coffee plant. Air moisture level of around 81%, constant climate and temperature averaging up to 21.5˚C with more than 2,250 hours of great sunshine a year create perfect growing conditions.
5 million metric tons of CO2 pre hectare are cleaned on a yearly basis through the coffee bushes and shade trees in the West Valley area.
Goof agricultural practices on the coffee farm as well as modern sustainable production activities during the wet and dry milling process of the coffee are constantly supported by all active members in the value chain of this wonderful coffee.
